about
This song addresses the anticipation of growing Christmas spirit, as the day itself draws nearer. It also acknowledges, that while the Christmas holiday is largely about family, it's equally as important to regard its true meaning. While some contemporary Christmas songs seem to resemble many other songs heard throughout the year - except with the word 'Christmas' inserted in the lyrics - the goal with "Love Grows for Christmas" is to embrace the key traditional lyrical and musical elements of a classic Christmas song.
lyrics
Love grows on Christmas by the hour
Just knowing that you will be around
Not alone
Come help bring that spirit on home
Love grows for Christmas, love grows for Christmas
Love grows for Christmas in my home
Love grows for Christmas, love grows for Christmas,
Love grows for Christmas, I’m not alone
Love grows for Christmas in my soul
The minute I answer the phone
I know you’re near
You’ve been gone for so long now you’re here
Love grows for Christmas, love grows for Christmas,
Love grows for Christmas In my soul
Love grows for Christmas, love grows for Christmas,
love grows for Christmas, I know
I think I hear ya at the door (knock-knock)
Intro:
As we count all our blessings today
With family and friends on their way
I say Amen
My love grows on Christmas again
Love grows for Christmas, love grows for Christmas,
Love grows for Christmas, Amen
Love grows for Christmas, love grows for Christmas,
Love grows for Christmas again
You help my love grow for Christmas, again
